The 3rd SRIA Summit was held in Guangzhou on November 24th, 2019. IFF and SRIA members attended the Summit, including Shaukat Aziz, IFF co-chairman, former prime minister of Pakistan; Jenny Shipley, IFF board member, former prime minister of New Zealand;  Zhu Xian, IFF vice-chairman, vice-president of New Development Bank; Alessandro Golombiewski Teixeira, IFF board member, former president of the World Association of Investment Promotions Agencies (WAIPA). Other distinguished participants include Mehmet Simsek, former deputy prime minister of Turkey; Zhang Shenfeng, vice chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; An Qingsong, executive vice president of Securities Association of China; Chen Xiaohua, chairman of China Gezhouba Group Company. Representatives from National Development and Reform Commission, the Silk Road Fund, China Merchants Group Limited shared their insights on BRI. The Summit explored the following topics: Belt and Road Initiative - A New Driving Force to Global Growth; The Supportive Role of Finance to Facilitate the Belt and Road Initiative.
